Do you photograph destination weddings?
Absolutely! Contact me and we can discuss your needs and figure out pricing that works for you and me.
What is your starting price for a wedding?
$2600 for 6 hours is my starting wedding photography package.
How much does a wedding photographer cost in Dayton or Cincinnati?
As in any city, wedding price ranges differ based on talent, time, and packages. A wedding costs a minimum of $2600 with me, and your engagement photos are always included.
Can you hold my wedding date for me?
The $400 non-refundable deposit is the only way to secure your wedding date.
How much is the deposit?
The wedding photography deposit is $400 non-refundable. This goes toward the balance of your Dayton wedding, Cincinnati wedding, or Columbus wedding.
When is the balance due?
The balance of your contract is due 7 days before the wedding.
What is the cost to add one extra hour to my wedding day?
The cost for an extra hour is $150 (added prior to the wedding day) or $200 (on the wedding day).
How much is an engagement session without booking a wedding?
Engagement sessions (when not booking a wedding) start at $425 + tax.
Do you collect sales tax?
I do collect sales tax for weddings and engagements in Ohio. It is legally required by law.
Do you accept credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express?
Yes! I accept cash, checks, and credit cards at no extra cost to you!
What is the most popular photography package that you sell?
My 12-hour wedding package is the most popular right now due to the large amount of time on the wedding day.
Do I have to choose which wedding photography package I want upfront?
You may always upgrade packages but you cannot downgrade.
Do you have a photo studio in Dayton or Cincinnati?
Although I operate a mobile photography studio in Dayton and Cincinnati, I do not have a physical studio you can visit.
Do you consider yourself a portrait studio in Dayton or Cincinnati?
I am anon-location portrait studio. I am a Dayton photographer and a Cincinnati photographer who travels to create beautiful portraits of all kinds.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes! I have liability insurance and a business license from the State of Ohio.
Are you licensed to do business in the State of Ohio?
Yes since 2007!
Do you have emergency backup agreements with other photographers?
Yes! I have several emergency backup photography companies I can call.
Do you use redundant memory cards at my wedding?
Yes! Every image I capture is backed up to two memory cards as I shoot them!
Can I look at a sample wedding contract?
Yes!
Do you use professional gear?
Yes! I use professional cameras, flashes, lenses, studio lights, and more!
Are you a natural light photographer?
No! I use available light as well as artificial lighting to create the most dynamic, pleasing, and creative wedding images possible.
Do you back up my wedding images?
Yes! Images are backed up on-site, and several off-site backups are made after your event.
Do I receive my images online?
Yes! I will email a shareable gallery link for your wedding images.
Are my wedding photos posted to an online gallery?
Yes! I will email a shareable gallery link for your wedding images.
Do my images contain watermarks or logos?
No! Since starting my photography business in 2007, I have refused to watermark any of my images.
Do you edit all of my photographs?
Yes! I make sure that all of your wedding images look authentic to your day. I work very hard to create images correctly in camera thus requiring less post-processing work.
Are digital images included in your wedding photography packages?
Yes! All packages are all-inclusive.
How many photos will we receive in an 8-hour package?
Usually, my clients receive 700-900 for 8 hours. This is not a guaranteed number.
How many photos will we receive in a 12-hour package?
Usually, my clients receive 1000-1200 for 12 hours. This is not a guaranteed number. No! I have always and will always deliver your images within 2 weeks of your wedding day.
Will I own my images and copyright?
Yes! The contract states that you and Kevin Lush Photography own the rights to the engagement and wedding images. You are permitted to use them digitally and in print.
Do I get every image you shoot?
No! I edit and review every image multiple times to remove duplicates and images that didn’t turn out well.
Are my images delivered in color and black and white?
I deliver 99% in color and 1% (approximately) in black and white. B&W is an artistic choice for me.
Can I get the raw files straight out of the camera?
No. These files are the starting point of your finished wedding photography gallery and are not available.
Digital files are always included!

What is the average cost of a wedding photographer in Dayton?
It really depends on the number of hours, engagement session or not, video or not, and other factors.
