Right after making this list, I photographed my first Webster Station / Cannery Loft Apartments / The Steam Plant engagement session in downtown Dayton, Ohio.  I cannot speak highly enough about this experience.  I have to say that this couple was outstanding and made this Dayton engagement shoot incredibly fun!  See more below!

Choosing Lesser Known Engagement Photo Locations In Dayton

I met a couple in front of Sherwood Florist on 3rd Street just east of the main downtown Dayton corridor.  We started out by utilizing the various storefronts along the south side of 3rd Street and then made our way through the breezeway under the Cannery Loft Apartments.  After spending some time in this awesome historic walkway area, we went behind the lofts and photographed the couple dancing in front of the fire escapes.  I absolutely love how my ideas turned out.  We then went back around to the storefronts and ended the session in front of The Steam Plant Dayton which is an awesome, historic steam plant that is Dayton’s newest wedding, reception, and event venue.  This couple was amazing, and I could have spent four hours photographing their engagement.
