Engagement Photography At The Greene In Beavercreek

Last winter I had the opportunity to create beautiful engagement photography at The Greene in the Dayton, Ohio area.  The Greene is an outdoor shopping center that has been open for several years.  Most top wedding photographers in Dayton Ohio have probably not photographed engagement sessions at The Greene.  I know this was my first time.  I will recommend this Dayton engagement location to others only if there is a special meaning behind it.  This couple got engaged at The Greene, so they wanted their engagement photos taken here.

Giving yourself enough time before your engagement shoot will ensure you have enough time to dry your hair. This is a simple but good tip for successful engagement photography in Dayton and Cincinnati.

Choosing To Have Engagement Photography At The Greene

Choosing The Greene as your Dayton engagement location can work well if you schedule an early morning engagement session.  Due to the nature of this Dayton engagement location is filled with stores and restaurants, hundreds of people start to fill in the area around 10 am.  The key to a successful Dayton engagement session here is to complete it early before the crowds arrive.  The backdrops for this venue include a fountain, brick walls, and overhead string lights.  As one of the best Dayton engagement photographers, I have been to most of the Dayton engagement locations, and this one is good but not at the top of my list.

Having been to The Greene so many times over the years, I know that the best time of day is before the stores open. An 8 am start time is best for this location. This will ensure the least number of people in your photos. You still have work around a few cars and workers, but it is fairly empty. Having a session here is not ideal for most, but I loved the challenge of doing this. It was so much fun utilizing the stores as a background without capturing the signage. The area near Von Maur is the most pleasing to the eye and also the least busy.
